Had to do some nasty 100 old farm plumbing today and stopped in an ol timer who lives there, and he has 3 computer screens on a desk. They were all dark and I saw he had cnbc on. He goes over and touches his mouse and all the screens light up and L2 and real times quotes flashing all over the place. haaaaaa This ol guy is a trader. He has his accounts and a paper trade play account. In that one he bought 50 AAPL 505 puts @ 4.40 just before close yesterday and sold them today for 12.50 LOL On paper he made $32,000 today. I think I got all that right........ I says, WHy in the world aren't you trading them puts for real. He laughs and says. I'm not going to play against this scam of a market and the HFTing robots. I LMAO. Mind you , This guy is pushing 80, and he has got this game down. He says he doesn't play puts and calls, but somehow I think he does. Just keeping things close to the chest.......
