Semantics, the study of meaning, becomes - for some - a game about how meaning is obscured.

Funny how the uses of words change when they proceed from the mouths of those who seem unaware of their meaning. Perhaps this is why a word like cleave means its opposite. Plodding along.

Always just a little amusing when a person struggles with the meaning of the word semantics. It isn't intrinsically negative to care about the meaning of words.

Sometimes it is plain that a person is capable of understanding only that life is like a box of chocolates. And that it is really too much for them to contemplate the existence of an alternate candy world of marzipan and sherbet.

This is no way for a person to plod their way to the respect they so clearly crave and so obviously envy.
