I am doing a garden this summer. now that I AM settled in for a while. I love squash, and very easy to grow. Beans ,potatoes. carrots. some tomatoes, Normal garden stuff.......

Great. Yet another argument for the bulk GROWING AND CANNING of food.
If you have any land - even a suburban back yard - start a garden this year.
Even more important, if you have the property, is to plant food trees. Lots of 'em of different types. If you can't afford the trees, at least plant some PITS. They'll grow too... it'll just take a little longer.
