Well, this wouldn't even be a problem if the federal government had not unconstitutionally inserted itself where it has absolutely no right to be, in the first place. This fracas is not about the government's ability to force everyone to pay for abortions and contraception ... no ... it is about the government, that is supposedly of the people, by the people, for the people, tyrannically trying to micro-manage the personal lives of American citizens and tell them what they can't buy and what they must buy. If one acquiesces to the premise that the nanny government, as championed by the Marxists in the Democrat Party, has the legitimate right to control healthcare in this country, then you have already lost the argument in regard to the public being forced to pay for everyone else's abortions and contraception. However, I do not accept this initial premise because it is flat out unconstitutional. Excuse my French, but it is way, way past time to tell the federal government to fuck off. We the People are supposed to control the federal government, not the other way around.

The essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer. It has never yet melted. ~ D.H. Lawrence
