I don't know any catholics who oppose birth control.
Santorum opposes birth control. That's how backwards some of these candidtes are....

IMO, a good politician needs to compromise & to pick their battles.

Obama needed to STOP the BS the bishops & republicans were creating. He did just that, and women didn't lose their rights. A win-win.

Do you know any Catholics who oppose birth control (for themselves)? I don't. I used to, but not these days.

Not sure why Obama caved in so readily. Could he have stood up for the unconditional rights of Catholics to have birth control coverage, rather than weasling out to the bishops and the Republicans with a probably illegal mandate for insurance companies to provide free coverage in some cases?

How are self-insuring religious organizations handled?
