I have not seen an LG phone in quite some time so your experience is not the norm. As far as share I am not talking about volume discounts. It is expected units shipped X rate. The rate is not changed but the units shipped part has come down in their model. Is that clear? I am not happy with management and their strategy recently either but the LG piece of the report is nothing more than less units.

Share is not as important as production. Every member in my extended family has been using LG. Some have smartphones from others, but the bread and butter phones are all LG's. Production is the constant in the royalty formula. Rank in market share may get you a discount on a per unit configuration, but it is just an extra topping on the pizza.
