I was thinking about this yesterday, remembering a conversation with someone who had made their prediction with a certainty that was notable when it was made.
The crack pipe always seems to be lurking behind the public discourse. It seems that folks will turn themselves into ciphers at a company's bidding. But is the company's purpose to promote truth, or is it the appearance of imminent success? Of course, the history is the latter. To the extent folks have spread the gospel in its piped form, they have usually ended up looking foolish.
And yet if the information flow continues and also becomes reliable, what kind of market will Wave operate within? The chosen few will know and run ahead of every bit of news.
No chance of a level playing field, even in success?
