I read somewhere that even paying cash for your coffee in a coffeehouse that offers Internet service can put you on a watch-list.
Funny how that came up just in time for a counter-protest by some gun folks at Starbucks next week. A lot of them intend to pay with $2 bills, reflecting their appreciation for Starbucks' honoring of their Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms. So now, gun owners will be on yet another list. *yawn*
Information about the protest: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/starbucks-pro-gun-policy-prompts-gun-victims-advocate-group-to-launch-nationwide-boycott-on-valentines-day-2012-137890863.html
Because Starbucks has specifically said they do NOT want to get in the middle of this issue, the gun folks aren't going to picket and protest like the anti-gunners. They're just going to spend money there.
Somehow, I think this 'boycott' isn't going to have the result the anti-gun folks wanted.
And yes, I plan to drink my share of coffee on Valentine's Day. And maybe hubby's share, too.
