I was one of those who was minimizing the effect of CAFC decision, but that was when the SA process was still in "mystery ville". My thought was that IDCC was still fighting for the integrity of their IP with the recent ITC filing, so a set back at the CAFC would still enable an IDCC buyer to look forward to the next ITC complaint.

Obviously with the SA process done, now the CAFC decision is big on many different aspects. Looking forward to your "smooth water" one of these days. Best to you.

Mr. Clontz is now experiencing little bumps in the road with serious money in the game. Welcome to our world sir. I believe he is seeing the light and will instruct the licensing team that per unit, uniform rate licensing agreements are a must for our essential patents in renewal licenses and future licenses. I also suspect that those shareholders who have talked themselves into thinking the CAFC case is no big deal are having second thoughts right now. We remain in very rough water right now. I still see smooth water ahead, but we absolutely need a litigation win to kick start the money machine. Good luck to all longs.
