Okay. I've read enough about the electric universe to realise it is a technical discussion beyond my knowledge set. It originated with a Nobel prize winner, so it's obviously going to be very clever, but it has mostly been rejected by other physicists. I have no idea how to judge who is right from my own resources. But for myself, I would work on the presumption that the burden of proof is on the electricians.
Frankly, I don't think I'm going to have anything useful to contribute to this or to any discussion of the holographic principle, which again is beyond my borders.
And certainly, I don't think of either of these ideas as things I would put faith in in the absence of reliable test data. Maybe that's just my slow-moving nature. But they are interesting speculations.
