I think he is saying that the big fixed licensees (e.g. Apple & Sammy) are kicking the butts of the variable licensees.

I have read that sentence now twelve times. I still don't have a fucking clue what he is talking about. Is it missing a comma or three?

Did agreements shift to per-unit or from per-unit to something else? Or is he saying that there are other significant revenue licensees replacing previously noted ones? Or is "per-unit" licensees market share now being replaced by current "others" with other types of agreements?
