So in sum somebody's debt is another person's asset...

In fact my debt is so valuable that i no longer need anybody
to buy it....i just buy all the debt i issue myself.Even better
perhaps,i offer negative interest rates on my debt so some
body actually pays me to buy my debt.....it's so valuable after
all!Wow.....this is fantastic.....i have a $100 billion of my debt to sell
you & you are going to pay me $101 billion to buy it...

I left school at 16 so i guess i wasn't sprinkled with that magic
pixie dust at university.I lack the "intellect" of a honours
degree education in brainwashing i guess.

Doma.

Hi clo,

Sorry if I choke on those words.

They respect Paul because when people are worried, they turn to assets which have a record of retaining their value?

This isn't unique to Paul.

And yet he excluded from his thesis the asset which the world counts as safe above any other? - which is US Treasuries. A point which was proved absolutely during this crisis.

What will they all do when the gold bubble bursts?
