There truly is no limit to the vileness of the American right wing. They'll let women die to control the nation's wealth. I mean if you think it through their agenda is to keep wealth, and therefore power, in the hands of a small group. Everything else they do is dedicated to that end.
And what is truly vile is that they're leveraging sympathy for breast cancer patients and (in my case) memories of loved ones who died from breast cancer to fund their own power trip and undermine a foundation issue for women's health.
They had me fooled for a while, and I might still be happily writing a check to Komen this year if they hadn't pulled this stunt with PP. But 2c in the Kos piece is what gets me - it's now obvious that their "race for a cure" is a sham; they have no interest in finding a cure as it would end their ability to raise money and purchase political influence.
I find few things in this world that are truly evil, but this comes damn close.
