Hi orda,

This is the problem that Republican economics has everywhere. Lots of theories which have no basis in actual facts.

Supply side economics. Trickle down theory. All sorts of incentive effects. Charity replacing welfare. The market provides the most virtuous outcomes. Regulation is always detrimental to efficiency.

They sound good. But then you check the results and find that the figures and the theories just don't match.

Instead, Republican economics seems to cause effects like inequality, market bubbles and failures, structural deficits, systemic failures etc.

The saddest thing is that when the world doesn't respond the way they expect, they appeal to issues of purity. GWB wasn't a true conservative etc. Whereas if he had been less of a conservative, the damage would have been less.
