DCLARK--You are way smarter than I am. I read all your posts and have great respect for you.I agree this is far from over and I still believe IDCC will be sold. Even after 12 years in this stock,I have to admit this last setback was a real heartbreaker, for me personally. If nothing else, the next few weeks/months should be real interesting, let the games begin, lol, lol.

I think your conclusion is way off. The problem was not fit but the process. I am guessing that when first approached to bid nobody stepped up as it makes no sense to post a big number with a breakup fee at that point. Nobody wanted to go first. After that stage did not produce results the collusions I mean consortiums took over and probable decided to wait. It was obvious that having to announce the lack of bids or sale would punish the stock and soften up the shareholders. The possible suitors and their reps are good at this game. Now, there is no hurry and the CAFC decision coming. I am guessing after the decision good or bad, things will heat back up. That being said I think Interdigital will be more aggressive going forward which is a good thing. This process has been tough on the shareholders but I think it will help in the near term. Anyone that thinks this whole buyout saga is over is plain wrong, imo.
