...I had a trouble not long ago that I reported half dozen times and after a week of calling for status on the report and finding out that they had tested "no trouble" on the line and closed the ticket without axing me if they was any trouble on the line. I thought that perhaps their test was in error since the line in question was laying across the front yard and not connected to anything on the pole side.
...when I splained to em that the line was down between the house and the pole they told me that I did not have their wonderful inside the house wiring protection program and that if the problem turned out to be in the house I would get billed. I splained that I didn't think the line down in the front yard was inside the house.
...still nobody showed up so I drove up to the local AT&T service center, walked into the building, found a supervisor and asked him if he could get somebody to come fix my telephone line before I climbed a clock tower and started shooting at telephone trucks.
...it only took two more days for it to get repaired.
