Cactus Flower,

I agree, Mitt is not home free, in the general.
But, last night he stopped the Newt train from plowing him down.

I actually think Obama will win by a wider margin, in part, because of his flippant answer the other day when asked HOW much is his worth, he said 150, - 200 million...
A 50 MILLION plus or minus or???
are you for real... No YOU are NOT REAL!
That's worse than McCain not knowing how many homes he owned.

Yep. If there's no final conservative coalescence in favour of Santorum, I guess Romney is going to be the winner. In spite of my confident predictions he would not!! ;-)

I agree with you. It was the moon colony wot sunk Newt. Exemplified the mad space cadet in him. Newt denoued, just like Colbert reports.

However, I wasn't as impressed with Romney as you. The theme of being unable to tell the truth is going to hurt him and it was on display again last night. And although his defence of his own wealth, tax paying etc was slightly stronger yesterday, largely because his Republican opponents can't easily attack the thing that is their core argument, he nakedly represents the 1% and the Bain thing is just a huge scab waiting to be pulled off.
