Yep. If there's no final conservative coalescence in favour of Santorum, I guess Romney is going to be the winner. In spite of my confident predictions he would not!! ;-)

I agree with you. It was the moon colony wot sunk Newt. Exemplified the mad space cadet in him. Newt denoued, just like Colbert reports.

However, I wasn't as impressed with Romney as you. The theme of being unable to tell the truth is going to hurt him and it was on display again last night. And although his defence of his own wealth, tax paying etc was slightly stronger yesterday, largely because his Republican opponents can't easily attack the thing that is their core argument, he nakedly represents the 1% and the Bain thing is just a huge scab waiting to be pulled off.

Good morning Cactus Flower.

Mitt had his best debate last night, in the nick of time. He responded like lazar, without being nasty.
'Balanced & strong', that's how I would grade him.

Newt was off his game, sounded angry & without focus.
Besides, his 'idea' of an American colony on the moon was a reminder of how loony & costly his ideas can be.

Santorum also has a solid night. He was able to put pressure on Mitt's health care issue.

Ron Paul deserves extra points for stamina ;))
