Wave systems has been slected as a "sole source contract" provider by the DOD. There will be many, many more of these to come. The shorts are in a pinch, no way out, nowhere to go. This one contract could include as many as 200,000 machines when you add in the vehicles and backroom support services. At $80 a pop with WEM, ERAS, and SED management this could easily be for $80-100 per machine. SO the math gets clearer even as it is vague. This is a 10-20 million dollar contract, and a middle value of say 14-16 million dollars would in fact be the begining of a hockey stick.
The next two weeks will be very interesting.
