...a majority of the cost of education is paid to barely literate teachers who can't teach the material because they don't know the material. I would venture to say that the average sergeant in the army is more qualified to teach than they are. Education has become a minorities jobs program. That's why it costs so much and that's why it doesn't work.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
Arizona solved its significant budget problems through cuts in education and health care. It is either 49th or 50th state in $/student spent on education.
Now that the budget is balanced, ($1.5B projected surplus) no money is coming back to these line items.
