I am gearing up for taking a walk across the Grand
Canyon. Late September, early October.
Anybody know any young, fit, women types who
might be interested in joining me for the walk?
I am looking at hotel type accomodations on the
North and South rims, and either a small cabin or
a bunkhouse bed at a place called Phantom Ranch in
the bottom of the Grand Canyon. With the thought
of spending two nights at Phantom Ranch.
Or, perhaps a female type with good navigational
skills who might be interested in being a 'shuttle
bunny' - providing transportation between Las
Vegas (or a decent air port within easy range of
the Grand Canyon) and the Canyon and around the
Canyon.
The Trek itself involves starting at the North
Rim. Hiking down to Phantom Ranch. Spending
an extra day in the bottom. Then hiking back
out to the South Rim.
