appears to be pretty much the most successful of all the advanced economies.

And the whole debt thing - in total - turns out to be a huge distraction. Total US debt has declined since the crisis began. Great job by Obama's team. Looks like monetary stimulus has alleviated the crisis.

Sadly, Blair and Brown destroyed Britain's balance sheet and it faces a far worse crisis than the US.
