What a shame it is if our two nominees wind up being Obummer and Gingrich. It seems that my old analogy to an election with Hitler versus Stalin becomes more apt each day!

If Americans would just ignore the polls and vote for whoever they most liked, the nation would be *SO* much better off. But that would take some effort, and we've become a lazy people. It's much easier to pull the lever for whoever our Masters tell us to elect ... and then pat ourselves on the back for the contribution we made by going out to vote.
