Yes, I did. Spoke to his aide. Let him know who I was and a long time acquaintance of John's.
We had a pleasant talk and told me he would let John know I called and what I wanted to tell him about those two pieces of legislation under consideration.
He agreed there was way too much SLOP in it on the House version and I look to see that thing substantially revised.
At least that is what I was told.
Then again, perhaps it is just a line of crap as well.
Just don't know for sure. Am still trying to get hold of John directly. I do want to express Bob's concerns to him as well.
That whole thing needs to be narrowed and limited and focused for it's intended purpose only.
