You have to stop reading Israeli propaganda and confusing it with the real world.
Of the three nations, Israel, Iran, and the United States, Iran is the only one NOT constantly attacking and invading other countries. So why, when Iran so obviously wishes to be left in peace, would they do something as outrageous and obvious as attack a US carrier, knowing it would give the US the long-sought justification to start another war?
What is far more likely is that Israel will attack a US carrier and frame Iran for it, just as Israel first attempted to frame Egypt for the attack on the USS Liberty before the true identity of the attackers became known, and just like Israel tried to frame Egypt for the bombings on American and British targets in Egypt that came to be known as the Lavon affair.
