They our outcast and segregated enough already.
Poor people, regardless of color, race or creed, have chosen that path for themselves. They never took advantage of the FREE EDUCATION in this country and should be paying the price. They are NOT because they are getting their phones and minutes free, aside from Medicaid et al. Krap, I don't even know what they get for free, but as someone who never allowed herself to accept a hand-out, I do not pity them.
Without a computer, a landline or a cellphone, and with the absence of pay phones on the street, they are becoming invisible or non-people in today's electronic world
Ohhh, I get it. WE have to give the poor everything, especially phones/free minutes, because the poor are becoming invisible. KTC, THEY HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEMSELVES. The Great Society (thx Johnson) is completely OUT OF CONTROL!!

I don't see it that way. Give them free phones and they can participate/contribute? Nope, I cannot agree. It is a sorry state of affairs, but I didn't do it and I resent paying for it.

I was pumping gas yesterday and had one of those poor, non-participating weirdos approach me for money.
I said no.
Less than 5 minutes later, he approached me again.
Go back to school and get a job.

But now that it is election season, HE IS GOING TO WORK ON THAT.
