new_sun... I've done the same as micro - switched to Avast. AVG seems to have gotten top heavy and it was reducing performance.

Anyone else using and having any issues with AVG anti-virus software?

I'm often running into an error message - I go to a known site - been there lots of times before - all of a sudden the site opens, I can see it for about a half a minute - then the site disappears and an error message from AVG opens up:

Oops! Page Not Found

Sorry, the page you were looking for could not be found.
Tips to find what you’re looking for:

* Make sure the website address you entered is correct and doesn't contain a typo.
* Go to AVG Search Homepage to easily find web pages, images, videos and more.

What does it mean it "could not be found"?!?!!? It was just there - it found it and opened it.

Not specific to any one site and it's getting really really annoying

Anyone have any suggestions?

Sun :-)
