"Hi doma,
I think it happened the other way around, didn't it? The physicists were explaining reality in terms of parallel universes and holograms and black holes and quanta.
And then the metaphysicists used the science to create a fresh quasi-religious formulation of reality and consciousness.
At any rate, in my quasi-religious view of the universe, absolutes are always elusive and paradoxes are part of the fabric. So the idea of perfect security is not part of my expectations. I'm looking for robust security and expensive procedures for breaching it. That is a step up from inadequate security and unrestrained informational freedom in my book."
Someone has itchy finger of control syndrome. Probably the word quasi-religious scared him/her.
