Drum A sends beats received by Drum B, who upon receiving the signal beats his drum to acknowledge that the code of A has been recieved and processed and the communication link is now establised between A and B. And any further beating of the drums will be using corresponding signals and codes only understandable by A and B. Pleae see the following example.
Boom boom BOOM BOOM. A is telling B his wife is looking for him and to stay low until the coast is clear.
