...there is money to be cut in the budget. Seems not all that long ago that there was a piece of artillery the military was buying but didn't want. It was so heavy ya couldn't move it about on anything smaller than a C5 which requires a good sized airport. When ya try to move it about it turns concrete highways into gravel roads. Ya can't move em about off road at all because of their size and weight. City streets in most of the world are too narrow to accomodate them. They had to buy em anyway cause they were manufactured in some senator or congressmans district. The first question about military spending is "will it get me re-elected". We can deal with other more mundane things like will it work on down the road a bit.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
