Imo your opinion shows that you have very little knowledge of how large businesses work. Interdigital is not a very good example of a complex situation for a CFO but that does not mean it is an easy job. I have always thought that having a good CFO is more important than even the CEO as the CFO really manages the business. I think your advice to your kids is off base.
