I don't know. If you come up through the financial analyst ranks, it can be fascinating. As a Sr. Budget analyst, I sat in many high level, and very interesting meetings. When you are the finance guy (Sr. Fin., Mgr/Dir of Finance, VP etc.) the ops guys always want you close so they can understand the economic impact of their decisions. That was the really fun part. Being on the inside...crunching nummies for the team.

Again, it is a great carrer path.

The only problem is Paying your dues in the early part of your career can be really boring.
