micro, Tried turning speakers off and on again....
Only seems to be certain websites and I will note them from here on out. I am a Win 7 system and I do have an icon which is showing mute. When I click on mixer in that icon popup, I have all items shown on mute..

Not a serious problem, but I am at the PC at weird hours sometimes and it IS prudent to not disturb the boss lady.

Hi Boomer and a Happy 2012 to you!

Well
do your speakers that are hooked up to your computer, unless you are using a laptop, have an on/off button or switch?

Try turning them off. Do you have the little SOUND icon in your tray on the right hand side bottom of your screen where the time is displayed?

If so, click on that and then select MUTE.

Let me know what your situation is with the operating system and the computer and speakers please?

the best to you,

micro...
