At 9:30 est, 1.1% seperates Santorum, Paul & Romney.

If Santorum holds, watch the money come in.

If nothing else this makes the primary a longer slog & just wait until Saturday nights debate, Newt should be spitting nails directly at Romney.

This is going to get bloody.

If he does, the Tea Party is dead. Maybe a good thing. But who's going to care what Tea Partiers wish for if they cannot put a candidate up for election even when they appear to have a majority within the Republican party (I'd say they have 40-50% of the Republican vote and the establishment has 20-25% based on the bubbles and Romney's continuity).

Romney wins with a quarter of the vote?

I still think that once the others drop out, the Tea Partier allegiance will concentrate on a single candidate. I thought that person would be Bachmann. But it might just as well be Santorum. His bubble is beginning to grow. Romney has never been the fall-back guy. And that means the Tea Party really doesn't want him.
