micro, I hear you can get books on loan for a couple of weeks from the library for those things.

I got me one of them thar 7 inch E-reader tablets for Christmas.
It surfs the web, does a host of other things including email, is an android system, has lots of apps and can get thousands more, and is a B&N reader to boot.

I have never looked at an e-book yet but somehow I think the print would be small and I just cannot see myself sitting anywhere trying to read a book holding this gizmo in my hands squinting to see the text.

I did set up the email app to go to my GMAIL account and that works and I set up the browser to open to my favorite online store as well.

I have browsed to Here and other places. Very small.

So far I think I would prefer a smaller laptop, perhaps 14 or 15 inches as the screen is much larger and the operating system much quicker.

Thankfully I didn't pay for this gadget and honestly do not see why anybody would like them. More annoying than they are worth.

Besides, I like purchasing books in hard back editions and reading them and then placing them in the library in my home. This way I can pass the collection of books on to my children and grandchildren.

If you have found an e-reader you like, please share it with me.

Thanks,

micro...
