...most folks who claim to be liberals just like to think of themselves as liberals because it makes them feel all intellectual and "concerned" about their fellow man, not to mention "warm and fuzzy". Many are simply one issuers like the pro abortion bunch. I don't know how they square being concerned with humanity and abortion but Im sure there is some sort of convulated explaination that only an "intellectual" could understand.

Since the Dems have had total control of the House and Senate for two years plus the White House, and still retain control of the Senate and White House,
how is it that conservatives are always being "painted" by liberals as being the ones who are "corrupt".

It seems to me that libs have very short memories about corruption. We could talk about Barney, and Chris and Anthony and several others just to name some current totally corrupt liberals.

A question for you if you please?

Do you believe in saving money? Putting money away for a rainy day or retirement accounts?

If you do, then you have the same traits as many conservative people.
