I am involved in a little kayaking and we do some rivers and creeks that are not very big. Some of em in quite rural parts of the state. We have to have good reliable communications. I have a T-Shirt that says, "Paddle Faster, I hear Banjo's"!

Pope,
It was from WalMart.

Actually, if someone wants unlimited everything their $40 a month plan is very cheap also.

Bear in mind I do not know whose network Wal Mart utilizes.

I use Consumer Cellular and they use the ATT cell network. Service is good almost everywhere I go.

My personal cell phone is only for travel purposes. We pay $19 and change a month for 240 minutes each month and the phone was free of charge and we kept our old cell phone number we had from T-Mobile.

Four hours is way more than we ever will use and we have had this for over a year now.

For others, it would be only a starting point. As I said, we only use it when we travel and keep it on for communication or if we need to call for assistance.

the best,

micro...
