I got a bunch of iTunes gift cards for Christmas and after I 'redeemed' them all I was looking at what I could 'buy'. I decided to see what sort of old TV shows they had to offer and ran across the old 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' series and so I downloaded the first year's shows (filmed and broadcast in B&W in 1964/65). Anyway, I just watched the 9th episode, 'The Strigas Affair' (all episodes carried the '...Affair' moniker) which was first broadcast in November 1964. Well the 'trivia' bit is that two of the other actors in this episode were William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy (AKA, James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock). This was nearly 2 full years before the first episode of 'Star Trek' was broadcast. Note that William Shatner got credit up-front as a 'guest star' while Nimoy was merely listed as part of the cast in the final credits.
Anyway, I thought that was sort of cool seeing these two guys playing opposite each other in a totally different story line.
