...I understand that people have a hard time finding jobs, but the loan contract doesn't have anything in it about payment not being due if jobs are hard to find. Suppose you had a half dozen places rented out and that rent was your soul source of income and the renters just quit paying. You got a choice, toss the non payers out and get somebody in there who will pay or you and your family get tossed out. Capitalism requires cooperation between borrower and lender, buyer and seller etc. It's a tough world out there and everybody has to keep up their end of the contract.
