I once worked for a railroad repair shop that belonged to clint Mercherson (SP), who also owned the Dallas Cowboys at the time. After I moved on to a better paying job the guys in the shop joined a union. The union spent several months telling Mr. Mercherson what he would pay the workers and what benefits he would provide. Finally he shut down the shop and told them to go find other jobs. Then later he sold the shop.
