So if your neighbor had a light display that was 'ridiculous, ornate, and tacky' you would write them an anonymous letter telling them you disapproved? Not threatening to dispose of the fixtures for them, but expressing your dismay that they were flaunting their wealth with this egregious waste of energy and excessive display of Christmas-time fun?

Would you at least have the guts to sign the letter?

I'm grateful they are NOT my neighbors.

It looks like a carnival & IMO, it is tacky.

I wonder if they have to turn the lights off at a reasonable hour, like 9 pm?

That doesn't mean I think a threatening letter is appropiate, its illegal.
