almost every contract has arbitration clauses to resolve disputes instead of having to sue for breach of contract...idc's arbitration w/ nokia was unique because the triggers involved other companies signing contracts that were enforceable upon nokia....lets not forget idc was on the verge of bankruptcy in 1999 when they signed that contract and received a cash injection upfront

i am well aware the current arb has nothing to do with LG...

my point was that it was taking forever to get the tech solutions revenue resolved and that past NOK used arb to delay with batts as well. It looks like LG had arb. in its contract as well but got tossed at the ITC.

i am not a fan of the arbitration. might as well just sue for breach of contract.

i suppose the one good arb result was the 253 from NOK years ago, but i recall that took a long time too.
