Unfortunately, my view of the big picture is the invasion of the computer and internet crowd into the wireless communications sector. These punks are filthy rich and have a God complex. They have no rules. They have no ethics. They believe your business and my business is their business. They believe an inventor should pay them for using the invention. They have destroyed the right of privacy and are dead set on changing the world. It is my belief that IDCC is going to need a litigation victory in order to extract the real value for the company assets. IDCC needs a new consigliore to get them through the legal wars. They need a tough talking, no nonsense, street fighter that does not use buzz words like "at the end of the day" and "best in class". IDCC has never been in a better position post Nortel to take the litigation to the mountain top. Hybrid licensing is no good. The rate must be set and the only variable should be customer support. We are being issued new patents on a regular basis. Once we make a few stick, they will quit playing games and pony up the real value. Until that time, they do not mind seeing the downward pressure on the IDCC market cap and, if truth were known, would prefer dealing with a bankruptcy trustee. A positive CAFC opinion would do wonders for getting their attention.
Of course, the above is just my opinion. I am willing to wait. I just do not want to spend my entire days and nights waiting to hear something. If I am wrong and these rich pricks playing in the sand box decide to buy us at a fair price before a legal victory, I will be just as happy as any posting shareholder on any of the boards. It has been my dream that all of us make big bucks on this stock and still pray for it to happen every night. Good luck and happy holidays to all.
