Well, that's sort of like telling yourself you have pancreatic cancer so you'll be prepared when the news hits.

II don't necessarily chose to go through my life expecting bad news so that I can be pleased when the good news comes my way.

I have more respect for you than you'll ever know, loop, but your sentiment seems very pessimistic and dour to me. You're always the " go-to" guy for me when a legal opinion is warranted, and I hope all of us longs come out great after all these many, tiring years.

Mixed emotions on this one. One of our best payers gets stung by Apple who is acting more and more like Nok every day. I hope IDCC files a 337 against Apple for 4g asap in anticipation of getting a better deal on the renewal. I am now accepting a no sale from IDCC so I will be better prepared for the news when it hits. Hopefully Mr. Hybrid Merritt will be shown the door and a new person who understands the need for consistency in FRAND licensing will take the wheel for the next leg of this relay at the Pot of Gold races.
