My son asked me today what "progressive" means. Apparently, he was told in History class that Progressive means "Someone who wants to improve conditions through change." The teacher went on to say, "We are all Progressives in this class."

I thought this was interesting, but decided this evening to see if I could find a definition that *I* was comfortable with. It didn't take long. This definition, from Dictionary.com, is excellent:

Progressive: "continuously increasing in extent or severity, as a disease."

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
