I agree, the format makes it nearly impossible to have a meaningful discussion.

Ron Paul may run as a third party, he has nothing to lose this is his last run.

I'm watching MSNBC, they are discussing third party options. A retired democrat mayor from CA thinks Newt might run as third party.
I don't think he would bother, too much work.

When do you think Perry will go home?
The folks that suggested he run, they should be ASHAMED!

I did watch it, and my conclusions were similar to yours. Ron's reasoning is sound, but I think his temper got the best of him.

The problem is, it's HARD to deal with stupid people and their tactics without losing one's cool.

Ron Paul is an intellectual. Bachman, most definitely, is not. I hope most people appreciate and respect those who think - as they are the world's movers and shakers, but most probably don't - not when the end results are unsettling or against popular opinion.

We've seen evidence of that on YOUR board these last couple of days, now that I think about it!
