Getting these United States off the arab oil teet
should be a good thing.
Being able to domestically produce carbon based
liquid fuels should be a good thing.
My paper ran an article about how the U.S. Navy was
testing these biofuels.
Yeah, $16 a gallon is god-awful expensive . . . but
if it works and if production is scaled up the price
per gallon should come down - hopefully considerably.
But, I much prefer this to obama shoveling a half
billion bucks to solyndra . . . At least with this
we got something for our money.
(Seriously now. The concept is to buy the product -
not pay off ones friends. Rather than shoveling
money into the pockets of solyndra executives, 'We'
should have been buying the solar panels and inverters
then getting them installed on and powering our
buildings . . .
Even at obscenely high prices - get the technology
developed and on line. If it works the price will
come down.)
