The pundits have thought it must be Romney, but there's something of the foppish and effete cavalier about him and he just won't take in the bacci-spittin', rebel-yellin', moonshine-slurpin', gun-totin' Republican heartland. It's a game of least-loser with the whole field doomed and no let up in the race to the bottom.
