... And with all that experience on the back of Michael Price's baseball card ... Even if this were over, or he determined bidding dead, an announcement would be made. He is well capable of finding a pulse and making a diagnosis on the patient. No announcement has been made that the patient is dead which means the process continues ... there is a reason why we haven't heard an announcement yet, we will learn one day and be able to play Monday Morning QB in retrospect.

Here's the size of a few of these deals on which Price advised (taken from PRs not SEC filings):

$ 12.5B Century Link's aquisition of Qwest
$ 8.5B Frontier's aquisiton of Verizon access lines
$ 41.0B Cingulr's aquisition of AT&T wireless
$ 16.0B SBC's aquisition of AT&T
$ 6.9B Cisco's aquisition of Scientific Atlanta

Seems he is more than capable of handling the complexity and SIZE of a deal for IDCC. Very Happy Woot!
