Interesting. Of course, allowing students who have been approved by Federal and State agencies to own and carry a firearm, will cause more violence, right?

"Nathan Latka, a former Tech student who works in an office near Squires Student Center, says he first heard the campus sirens go off and then received a text message from the university warning him about the shooting."That's when I realized something was wrong," he says. Latka watched a student emerge from Squires as five police officers pointed assault rifles at him. The student was not arrested." (emphasis mine)

Everyone is on high-alert. Five police officers pointing guns at a student who made the mistake of leaving a building. That is what I call a recipe for disaster. The odds of that student getting shot by one of those officers were incredibly high. Frightening indeed.
